GM warns workers in Brazil on losses, tough turnaround plan

BEIRUT (Reuters) – A Lebanese security official said on Friday that Lebanon’s security chief Abbas Ibrahim had mediated with the Syrian government the release of a U.S. citizen who had been handed back to his family.

The released American is not Austin Tice, a journalist kidnapped in Syria in 2012, the security official said, without revealing the name of the freed person.
